Creating Poetry...

To me, creating poetry is not simply a means by which one generates lines that rhyme, for poets allow their world, their pain, their joy, their hopes, their fears, their regrets, their very being to be re-examined, to gain new perspective, to be released, to help heal and to share experiences... to let others know they are not alone.

Writing poetry is something one does to honour their inner being thereby becoming the ultimate form of soul expression. Writing poetry becomes a gift that one gives oneself as well as a gift that may be shared with the world...
